abeille shuts down

Abeille Musique fait face depuis le 1er septembre 2104 à des difficultés sévères avec son prestataire logistique, ce qui a à ce jour entraîné une accumulation de retards inacceptable dans le traitement des commandes, et à ce stade nous n'en voyons pas le bout.

Dans ces conditions, nous avons décidé à titre conservatoire de suspendre complètement la vente sur notre site, devenue impossible, afin de ne pas créer davantage de déceptions à nos clients.

En outre, nous avons décidé de procéder immédiatement au remboursement des commandes non servies, soit par CB pour les clients ayant choisi ce moyen de paiement , soit par chèque bancaire pour les autres.

Nous sommes vraiment désolés et attristés de cette situation et espérons pouvoir reprendre le cours de nos activités bientôt.

This means due to problems with logistics, for which they see no end in sight, they are refunding pending orders and taking no new ones. They hope to eventually restart.

Thanks, I got hung up trying to translate son prestataire logistique, but wanted to get the news out before too many more got caught and wondered what happened.

Not quite "restart", more like "start accepting new orders again" - missed this, but this has me wondering if these problems started many months ago, since I ran into one ridiculous case where I tried ordering several times via their website, their outlet on amazon.fr's marketplace, all attempts got cancelled (the ones via their website without me even being alerted, I only found out a few weeks later upon asking them why my order wouldn't show up, hadn't checked my credit card bookings to see if they had charged it or not). Anyway, in the end I ordered via another marketplace vendor, and guess what? I received a parcel giving abeille musique as sender (and using loads of Naxos sticky tape). Anyway, I was glad it worked out, but I decided back then not to bother with abeille any longer.

Abeille has/has an Amazon MP storefront....Fabulous CD I think was the name....I ordered from them once several years ago, and remember the Naxos packaging.

Maybe fixing their insane international shipping costs might help....
