Yes that's right - I usually choose a recording which is interesting me intensely as an avatar.
This album is called Strawberry Jam and is by the group Animal Collective :)

Mark Moore's inability to produce hardly any relevant music these days is astonishing considered what he was able to mastermind 25 years ago:

Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Indeed.

Was just listening to Wish You Were Here. I like that one a bit more than Dark Side, but both are classic albums.

Todays listening:

Several listens to this one - I was reading some reviews of this album and the writers were adamant this is not an electronica/hip-hop album but I think that would be a pretty fair description. Very weird album but I certainly like it :)

Now playing:

Completely different to the Fly-Lo album - Im really digging GG lately. I played the Power and the Glory several times earlier in the week. Such a strange and interesting band.
I haven't really been in any sort of phase lately - just listening to whatever takes my fancy so often a lot of random and dissimiliar stuff.

Moonfish

I like these guys!!!   :)

Taken from a radio show in 1946. Oscar Moore is great on guitar, but the whole trio and the live ambiance is as cool as hell.
"You overestimate my power of attraction," he told her. "No, I don't," she replied sharply, "and neither do you".

When there is no artist or album name on the cover .... some of us are not so culturally hip to know just from the image what album you are talking about.

;)

If you continue to the end of my post you would have noticed that I said it was a Fly-Lo album (Fly-Lo = the artist Flying Lotus).
I posted about this album and Flying Lotus a few times before - I cant help it if people don't read my posts
Edit: Here is a click through so you can see and read about the album:

Listening to this set today:

I mainly listen to the versions of Close to the Edge and And You and I from each show but the rest of the material is good too.

Thanks.  The only album BY Flying Lotus I have is Los Angeles

Los Angeles is a great album too - I was just listening to that one last night.
Youre Dead! seems to be a concecpt album - it sounds similar to Los Angeles although it has more guest vocalist tracks :)

Waiting on my order to arrive, but it's already on Rdio, so I'm listening now.

Although I have Stawberry Jam as my current avatar I think this is probably my favourite AC album at the moment - gotta love the track Banshee Beat: cant get enough of this one! :)
