Surely you've realized what possibilities this cover has for you, Peter? Endless combinations of Paavos, Yo-Yos & others await!  8)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm happy enough with Edouard and Leslie on the cover.

Besides, there are plenty of other covers out there to deface*.

(*Pun definitely intended.)

One might be forgotten to think that it should be this Nielsen.

I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for reminding me of the actual, musical Nielsen.

By the way, that's a great photo. That's some impressive hair you have there, Carl.

Now, where have I seen that pose before...

Can you seriously tell me that this picture doesn't make it look like Stockhausen is flying four RC helicopters?
Beethoven's Op. 133 -- A fugue so bad that even Beethoven himself called it "Grosse".

That's a pretty big remote control young Karlheinz has on his lap.

Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Oh my god, I love how one of the pieces is Impressions from Childhood.

Some childhood.
Beethoven's Op. 133 -- A fugue so bad that even Beethoven himself called it "Grosse".

Abuelo Igor

Actually, when I got to listen to it, Impressions of childhood, despite its title, was a pretty dark piece.
L'enfant, c'est moi.

I don't know (and I don't want to know.)

To balance things out, here's a photo of George where he's not threatening to kill anyone:

Hmm, are you sure that is a real photo? The head looks like it has been placed on the top of a different body....

Those eyes! Can't unsee!

Those eyes make me think that on the day of that photograph, George had been taking Salvador Dali pills...

Enescu, IMHO, was a great, GREAT musician, but not really photogenic  >:(...

There's also this picture circulating in the web:

Caption: George Enescu gravely ill, in bed  ???
At this rate, we'll see this on a cover of some Enescu CD soon...

That's what I thought when I first saw it. (My very first thought was: "Has that been Photoshopped?")

I'm still not entirely sure that head belongs to the rest of that body. But maybe that's just the way George was. ("Good evening. No, please don't be alarmed. I would like to reassure you that not all composers look like me. None could be as handsome as the man you see before you. None could wear these clothes as stylishly. Or hold this scarf I am holding. This beautiful silk scarf. Wrapped tightly around my hands. As I move slowly towards you. Towards your neck. Your pretty, pretty neck...")
