Something I noticed on jpc:

A 22CD set: https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/classic/detail/-/art/georg-friedrich-haendel-christopher-hogwood-haendel-recordings/hnum/6822324
I wonder if op.6 is missing or if they forgot to list it (it is still a favorite of mine, striking a good balance between several aspects although his op.3 is probably more competitive, especially because of the completion of the 6th concerto instead of the usual unrelated movements that Walsh coupled together). What I have heard of the other orchestral music has IMO been superseded by other recordings, there are just too many good fire/water and while this is not true of the concerti a due cori I was not impressed by Hogwood's recording (in another cheap Decca box otherwise dominated by Marriner recordings).
Needless to say, I have most of what I am interested in already. The only somewhat rare thing might be the Mozart arrangement of Acis. The four oratorios were already in another cheap box 10 or so years ago (I have that one).

Danny Boy's (first) birthday year DG big box.  It includes his brand new release on the Barenboim branded piano, as well as the Westminster releases.  The set contains solo recordings only.  That makes me think his recordings as conductor and chamber music participant are in the queue.

A French duel.

Another enticing Asian market release.

Hopefully so Karl, but it strikes me while looking at the images on those covers that you are not old enough yet  ;D

Veit Bach-a baker who found his greatest pleasure in a little cittern which he took with him even into the mill and played while the grinding was going on. In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

Me!!  8)

However, I will have to look more closely to check the level of duplication that may arise.

I love the Telemann discs I have - well, the music, I should say. But a little Telemann goes a long way to satisfy my longing for inspired, expertly crafted baroque german musicke. I'd be afraid not to visit this box often  >:(. As it is, the 10 discs I have of his music in widely different genres will suffice. For now  8).

didn't check in detail but it seems:

CD 1-3: also in (first) Vivarte box
CD 8-15, 17, 23: also in Georg Philipp Telemann Edition
CD 16: also in Freiburger Barockorchester Edition
CD 19-22: also in SEON box

with some more overlap in terms of works (not performances), I guess I'm not in the market for this ... amazon.fr has a very attractive pre-order price, just in case (47€)

the Ricercar Portrait 8 CD set on the other hand looks tempting, but I was never quite able to figure out what exactly is on Ricercar's older Telemann etc. "Les Plaisirs de la table" 7 CD box, and I guess I better should try before buying ...

Will there ever be more than three discs?

Also, there are no images yet, but a nine disc set of Ania Dorfman's complete RCA recordings is in the release queue, and a twofer containing four Beethoven sonatas from Saleem Abboud Ashkar is slated for release next month from Decca Italy.

TODD ALERT

''The Stabat Mater of Pergolesi has fascinated me from the beginning: both the powerful lyrics, and also the music, which not only underlines the text effectively, but has independently in itself as well a great effect. The music is so deeply touching that I felt a great desire to play this on the piano und to rewrite the music. Whilst I was rewriting the Stabat Mater, I had periods of great enthusiasm for the work, yet then there were also days, when I couldn't even continue, because of a deep sadness that had seized me. And when I then practiced the Stabat Mater for the recording of the album, that some thing happened to me again. But the piece has a wonderful turning point, when it speaks about the glory of Paradise at the end, the protection that comes from the cross and with it the mercy of Christ. All of this is audible as well in the music. The differences and the character of the single stanzas get well emphasized by the music. The piece's resolution showing the glory of Paradise, as well as the Amen are wonderful highlights and finishing poitns for the great work.'' (Marie-Luise Hinrichs)

The new owners of the Naive label are issuing new recordings... encouraging.

This looks quite enticing to me. Alice Coote is a such a fine vocalist. Her Ruckert-Lieder performance with Metzmacher at the helm really stood out to me. A highlight of the performance:
