Schiff playing Schubert - good.  Fortepiano - (possibly) not so good.

The Barto Goldbergs could be good in a perverse sort of way.

Brilliant Classics is seemingly releasing a new Dvořák edition [45 cds] in the near future - May 1

Is this a re-release (reshaping) of the older Dvořák Masterworks Edition (currently going for hundreds of dollars)?

Mozart: Piano Sonatas No. 11, 17 & 18

'It's a genuine mission to fulfil the task of recording the complete Mozart sonatas. A mission that constantly has me asking questions of myself, and which sometimes has me feeling quite dizzy: can I do it? Am I right to? And yet I feel a literal attraction for these sonatas. They're an unending source of wonder to me. It's a joy to record them, and even an inner necessity.' - Menahem Pressler, who just turned 91 years old

The Op.119 is, simply, great.

The Op.81 is much better than prejudice has given out;  I should indeed call it simply very good.

The Op.90 I do not much recall . . . say that reflects more on me than on the music.

Hmm. Both the Groves box and the Shostakovich look quite interesting.
