Canadian Turkey....is that a kind of whisky?  I prefer Crown Royal.  Sleeman's Honey Brown for beer.  8)

I'm glad someone else voted for Cosi -

Yeah, you and me and the third person can form a brotherhood. It's my fave as well. Knocks my socks off with the most robust ensemble singing in all Mozart. Uncanny.

If David Ross were here I'd hazard he'd be the third Cosi voter. ;D

In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

But he's not.  I was the third first!   8)

It looks like Figaro will win this one.

Figaro. It used to be shared between Don Giovanni and Figaro, but while Don is super-fecund, vital and overwhelming, it is also flawed, whereas the gentler Figaro is just a perfect work in every way.

Don Giovanni, of course! I actually find this dramma giocoso much more hilarious than actual opera buffa, Figaro, yet still so dramatic. Although finale with Commendatore, Don Giovanni and Leporello is quite possibly Mozart's most kickass scene ever, I still always felt little disappointed about Don's death. He was the only character who didn't let stiff, hypocritic moral codes rule his life and that's why I love him so much. Oh well, guess he was too cool to live. Kind of amusing that two most badass characters in the whole opera are the only ones that get killed.

I was not going to vote as I expected Don Giovanni to win without contest (with all due respect to Le Nozze di Figaro).  But  when I saw them going neck to neck I figured I'd best get my vote in!

Oh no a tie! :o

If Mrs. Rock votes, it will break the tie...but not in your favor.
