Wow, you have been thorough in your list!  8)

If it has to be only one, my vote goes to Die Zauberflöte; although everything from Idomeneo onwards is a favourite.

Yeah that list is so long I probably could have snuck in a Haydn opera in the early section and nobody would have noticed! :D

I'm tempted to read that as Cosi Don Fluté.

OK, let's have some fun.

La clemenza di Mitridate, re di Ponto

Così fa Tito

Die Entführung aus dem Don Giovanni

I guess there is no room for La clemenza di Don Giovani...
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

Maybe that would be too out of character?

Except Gurn.

Yeah he could probably list all of Haydn and Mozart's operas from memory! :D

Except Gurn.

Thank you, Navneeth. I suspect that I might be the only one here who has all of Haydn's operas. :)

Weren't they all released in a giant Decca box set?

You probably are. I've only four: L'infedelta delusa conducted by Almeida, La fedelta premiata conducted by Dorati, Armida, and Orlando Paladino, the last two conducted by Harnoncourt.

No, just the easy ones. :)  I got the set of 2 boxes that came out before that, 10 disks each. But there are also 2 marionette operas (Die fueuerbrunst and Philemon et Baucis, and some early ones that aren't in there, like Acide, Lo speziale, La Cantarina and Le Pescatrici. Most have just a single recording and finding those isn't the no-brainer that you would think it would be!   :)

I have the Harnoncourt Orlando and greatly enjoy it. I also have Orfeo & Euridyce which missed the Dorati set due to its never having been performed in England when it was written (1792). I have Il Stagione Frankfurt on DHM. Nice recording. :)

I can, but it's a lot easier to do Beethoven's. :D

Wow, I thought Don Giovanni would be in the lead by this point.  ???

Superb recordings, those two.

Is there a consensus as to "best Don Giovanni DVD"?  I want one, but I don't want Eurotrash dubious production values, je-je-je!

I can only speak for what I like, and when I watched the Levine production I loved it.  The conducting is sumptuous, Terfel is amazing, the costumes are lavish.
