BBC series "Bodyguard" is phenomenal. The lead is Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), he raises his acting to another level here.

Time for another run through this great series.

I love this so much. I miss Gary Shandling.

Goldarnit, this is starting to sound like a recommendation.

Karl, you haven't seen the Larry Sanders show? RUN, don't walk!

Only if you like sardonic humor, wit, and great acting. Some prefer the Star Wars franchise.

The two films of season one have been shown so far on Spanish TV:

Our fellow GMGer Daverz told us some weeks ago he enjoyed this, and so do I. I've never really been a Maigret fan, but this series is wonderfully produced. Rowan Atkinson takes on this serious role quite admirably, but what is really accomplished is the recreation of mid-50s Paris (even if some scenes—for the side streets and alleys—were actually shot in Budapest).

I found the storyline for the first release, Maigret Sets a Trap, rather flimsy and predictable, but things improved significantly in this respect in Maigret's Dead Man.

Very enjoyable.

Good day, Rafael!

I enjoyed those Atkinson/Maigret films very much, too. A pity that it was canceled.

Good day, Karlo.

Yes, a real pity. Is it definitely cancelled, then? Well, at least we still have to be offered the two films of season 2 here in Spain.

It seems so, who knows if writer Stewart Harcourt's leaving to write another show happened before or after the decision..

I started binge-watching the Netflix series called "I'm Sorry."  Very dry at and times socially awkward.  Really enjoying it.

Ghost of Baron Scarpia

Lately the TV news is starting to feel like a dystopian TV series. I woke up this morning to the next episode, 12 dead.

Finished season 15 of Doctor Who, currently getting through season 7 and I've been having another watch of some episodes in seasons 1 and 2. My internet is down so I haven't been able to keep up with season 37 (aka Series 11) but I will catch up on the last episode when it gets back.
