The primary reason I am so good at geography: Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?

I also played the videogame, on 3.5-inch floppy disc, all of the time (that same disc also had Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on it):

I'm back to George Gently, which is the best long form Brit policer after Prime Suspect.

For a short series I'd go with The Long Shadow, based on the Yorkshire Ripper case.

I quite enjoyed Prime Suspect back in the day.  Who all is broadcasting George Gently?

Am really enjoying the mini-series The Count of Monte Cristo starring Sam Cliflin (a new-to-me actor).  Watched episode 5 of it recently.  The count is on his revenge tour and has help now.

Columbo, from season 1.
I stopped watching TV, for the most part, around 1982. I never watch old stuff from my childhood, because it's generally awful. However, I love Peter Falk, so started watching this. To my surprise, I remember all the old character actors from when I was a TV nut as a kid. I'm getting serious nostalgia kicks. The early episodes are horribly dated, but at around episode 8 (with Malcolm McDowell), the show seems to have jumped up a couple of notches in writing, acting, and editing.
It's all good...

There are some duds in the 70s run, but seasons 2-5ish are really terrific and it's probably my favorite show of all time. Karl will chime in, too!

I bet you loved the villain who gives himself away by listening to classical music  ;D later on there's a very funny dated plotline where a character yells, "You used a subliminal cut!"

Watching this show for the second time. So much fun!

Grace on Britbox. It's rather dark, gritty. Detective series--very well done.
