Karl Marx composed music?   $:)
Don't tell me you still haven't heard the Communist Manifesto Cantata?

I chose it because it was an image I had not seen before, and seems to have caught him in a different mood.  But he is the avatar of more than one GMGer, and indeed the avatar of one of the moderators.

Andante

I suggest that he could be interested in Douglas Lilburn  1915 –  2001  the early works of course.
Andante always true to his word has kicked the Marijuana soaked bot with its addled brain in to touch.

There was actually a minor German composer with the same name (no relation to neither THE Karl Marx nor the late romantic composer Joseph Marx), although politically rather different as he composed for Nazi youth organizations and was apparently firmly in line 1933-45...

Tout le malheur des hommes vient d'une seule chose, qui est de ne savoir pas demeurer en repos, dans une chambre.

Ten thumbs

Never mind beards and moustaches - how about a woman?
A day may be a destiny; for life
Lives in but little—but that little teems
With some one chance, the balance of all time:
A look—a word—and we are wholly changed.

Yeah, someone like Germaine Tailleferre or Mel Bonis.
"You overestimate my power of attraction," he told her. "No, I don't," she replied sharply, "and neither do you".

Or Grażyna Bacewicz or Sofia Gubaidulina..

Yes, and all the notes are quite sour!  In fact, I believe the music can be deadly!  0:)

Lili Boulanger

Note how the key signature - curiously! - seems to be irrelevant almost from the start!
"Meet Miss Ruth Sherwood, from Columbus, Ohio, the Middle of the Universe!"

- Brian Aherne introducing Rosalind Russell in  My Sister Eileen (1942)

Lili Boulanger is a fantastic composer! I love her work. It's too bad she doesn't get the kind of acclaim she deserves in the concert hall. If I were to go with a female composer as my avatar, she most definitely would be the one I choose.

I'm hoping it will be J.S. Bach, so we can finally fix what went wrong.   :P

Relax, he only purchased the recordings. As per usual, it'll be years before he listens to them, if at all.  $:)
