The images I use come from Discogs. They show up for me with no problem. The trouble you have may be because the Discogs images are JPEG, not the usual JPG.

Gritty lute playing. very close mic job. You really get all the twang and thump. Probably not the best for those who like a prettier style. For me, it's ideal 8)

Janacek, Sonata 1.X.1905, Jan Bartos.

Compared with the white-hot intensity of Thomas Ades, Bartos is more lyrical, reflective.

I've always had great respect for Paddington because he is amusingly English and a eccentric bear He is a great British institution and emits great wisdom with every growl. Of course I have Paddington at home, he is a member of the family, sure he is from the moment he was born. We have adopted him.

Revisiting perhaps the most micromanaged Scriabin ever recorded.  So beautiful.

Yes the Chopin mazurkas are a bit like that.. I'll try her Scriabin later this evening maybe. For me the uniform and pure sound world of her piano isn't interesting enough to keep me engaged -  and the interpretations, though imaginative, become slightly annoying rapidly - predictable, heavy, lifeless and un-fresh (stale could be the word.) Maybe it works better in other composers.
