How dare you listen to Russian music! WTF?!?!? Are you supporting Putin now? ::) ;D

There are right wing republicans in the US who consider Putin as a great guy.
I wonder if Gergiev is still befriended with  Vlad Putin.
The Boss of the Russian church is a devil in disguise of just stupid.
It feels sometimes as a nightmare.

Now playing this entire recording:

Aho hits another home-run. Excellent performances, too.

Yeah, those right-wingers are morons and have ideologies that I certainly do not subscribe to. At this juncture, Gergiev would do well to become a janitor cleaning urinals in the Mariinsky Theatre, because his career in the West is over. ;D

One last BWV 182 for today (Fritz Werner).

Patriarch Kirill is a member of the Putin clan, and gets his funds from him. On his foreign bank account is enough money to count him 5 times miljardair. One guess where this money comes from.
His is not a Christian but a puppet from Putin, one of many.
I've always had great respect for Paddington because he is amusingly English and a eccentric bear He is a great British institution and emits great wisdom with every growl. Of course I have Paddington at home, he is a member of the family, sure he is from the moment he was born. We have adopted him.

In brief, I'm enjoying everything, part of me wants to go right back and listen to each symphony again, but I feel I want to carry on and make even a superficial acquaintance with the lot in sequence.

Very nice, Karl. 8) I rather enjoy most of these symphonies, but I'm probably letting my ugly bias rear its head. I LOVE this composer and my history on this forum will certainly backup this assertion.

Bartók: Divertimento for String Orchestra (Janine Jansen, leader / International Chamber Music Festival, recorded 30 December 2019 at the closing concert in Utrecht)

What a great piece this is, and Jansen is one of my favorite violinists working today. Outstanding audio and video.
