:-*

I had it burned to disc with a BIS program of Denisov works : 2-violas and harpsichord concerto, viola and harpsichord chamber music, Epitaph and the orchestral variations on the Bach choral Es ist genug, among other things. The presence of the harpsichord and the choral variations made a neat connection with that Partita transcription, and a nice, full 75 minutes all-Denisov program.

I'll check the Henze and see where I could fit it. What is it anyway, and where can I find it?

Here is the last movement of Denisov's Partita

Dude, this Dvorak is phenomenal! Just fantastic. Everybody in the band is giving it all. A once in a lifetime performance. Gil Shaham... not so hot. But the Dvorak is amazing.

That's an excellent one. I have the DVD, but it's defective. It freezes up midway through the Scherzo of the Eroica, on all machines.

Sorry, I am mistaken. It's the '97 concert that I have the DVD that's defective. THe '93 I have on DVD and it's fine.

I haven't seen the Dvorak yet, but I have a Tchaikovsky's Fifth with the BPO and Abbado, filmed in Japan, for which I felt the same. A 1994 concert, The Firebird was also in the program.
I'll upload it next (even though this page reads it's commercially available)

Most of them are unknown to me. If you think you would like to put your hands onto some of this works let me know and I'll upload them. Right now it's easier for me to share audio files than video ones. (I have just downloaded a live Brahms concerto with Julia Fischer and Michael Tilson Thomas I would like to share here during the next weeks).

Lilas Pastia

Manuel, I'm mightily interested in the Maderna files. I just read a review of the oboe concertos (there are 3) in the current issue of American Record Guide, and the description of the works is extremely tempting.

The Shostakovich and Schulhoff would be my second choice.

Pleeeze! ;D

Maciek, what do you make of the two attempted completions of Agawe?

Drasko

I'd love to hear these, if possible, thanks!
