Obvious to anyone who has paid attention.

I too have plans to buy a house in Miami Beach, another in Boston, and a third overlooking the Kinneret.  Plus an apartment in Venice. Also a major gift to Mazon, a commission for an orchestral work to be composed by Karl
Henning and performed by the New World Symphony,  and other things.

To make them actuality will require winning tonight's Powerball. But I am planning.

Maybe repost when a reputable news source writes an article about it?
What a stupid comment. Do you deny the man said what he is reported as saying?  If not how does your prejudice against that paper matter.  You are using a pretext.

Not the only one in response I note.  There is no claim they have such weapons yet.

Yes, it is obvious that ISIL has mastered PR/Propaganda, and what better way to spread propaganda then to have a Western personage unfriendly to the powers that be come in and spend some quality time with ISIL so that he may be impressed by a thousand and one tales of atrocities to come.  Spread terror without lifting a finger so that populations at immediate risk may roll over without a peep.  And since ISIL has lopped off the heads of other journalists, this lends extra credence to the tales.

Yes, this one dude knows the truth and all those rubes in the west know nothing.  That's usually how things work.

Beat them war drums just a bit louder.

When I posted the link I almost added a comment about how Todd can dismiss yet more evidence of intent.

I congratulate you on not going straight to the Nazis, especially given the ending line of the article.

The khmer Rouge were existential threatening?. On top of being Nazis?

So you quote me about the KR, and prattle about people seeing existential threats, but you don't mean me talking about the KR?

I forgot that you are not worth debating. Won't happen again.

This is the second time you have issued this "threat".  Let's see if you can control yourself this time.

Exactly; resignation is the act of integrity.

Quote
An argument between two children over puppies turned tragic Saturday when an 11-year-old boy killed his 8-year-old neighbor with a shotgun.

The 11-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder in the girl's death. Latasha Dyer told ABC affiliate WATE that her daughter, McKayla, was killed.

Each of the children had a puppy. The 11-year-old "wanted to see the 8-year-old's, and she said no, and then he went and retrieved a gun,"

The boy fired the 12-gauge shotgun from inside of his house, striking the girl as she stood in her yard. The gun, which was stored in a closet without locks, belonged to the boy's father.

Saturday's killing, which came just two days after a mass school shooting in rural Oregon, has rocked the small community of White Pine, Tenn. Both children attended White Pine School.

Dyer told Knoxville's WATE TV that she had previously approached the school principal about the 11-year-old bullying her daughter.

Quote
"When we first moved White Pine, the little boy was bullying McKayla. He was making fun of her, calling her names, just being mean to her. I had to go to the principal about him, and then he quit for awhile. And then all of a sudden yesterday, he shot her."

America loves guns and dead children.

What's missing from the responses is any argument worth the name. It is not enough to argue that if there were no guns there would be no gun deaths. We don't live in a country where there are no guns, nor in one where you can get rid of them all. So any argument about gun control has to be about the partial derivative given (number of guns ~ number of adults) not (number of guns = 0). Any argument that doesn't is just moral preening.

Just banning stuff doesn't always work. Pot has never been legal where I live, nor has cocaine, but they are readily available. You think the war on drugs a success? You think the best way to deal with drug problems -- and drugs do cause problems -- is more drug laws, more swat raids on drug houses, more prisoners? I doubt many here do. But draconian gun confiscation laws would require at least that much or more.
And we don't have 3-D printers for pot. We now have 3-D printers for guns.

From your lips to God's ear!

Un peu sérieusement, a complete ban is not at all a practical suggestion, no.
