So where is MN Dave all of a sudden ???

What happened? (If anything did)

Q

Dancing Divertimentian

IIRC, he periodically comes and goes.

I think he stayed longer this time around than any other time in the past, which makes his leaving more acute this time.

Veit Bach-a baker who found his greatest pleasure in a little cittern which he took with him even into the mill and played while the grinding was going on. In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

I am unaware of anything having happened to precipitate this departure. That's just Dave. I have every confidence he will return. Or not... :-\

He will be back after his affairs are in better order and condition, and post almost as much as "The Big CPO" Harry.

Probably too busy with work and his baby. I seem to remember him getting miffed about something and leaving in a huff.

I haven't seen Manuel in a while.

About a month ago he told me he had no plans to return in the foreseeable, but that he's sadly blown his plan to not buy any new CDs this year, and still reads the forum sometimes.

I kind of suspect Mark rejoined for a while under a different username, although as soon as somebody publicly speculated that the new user was indeed Mark, said user immediately disappeared.

That wouldn't raise suspicion or anything. No. Never.

In any event, it is strange to look back and think about folks who were here but are now gone. Rather like going to a high-school reunion, isn't it?

Hey, that's true, and makes me sad.  :(

I read a post of his just last night.  It was short: no more than 3 -5 words.  I don't remember the BB.

Yes, very strange.  I can hardly remember current members, never mind past ones.
