The one you cannot see looked tastier?  ???

Well, at least that's how I imagined it.

Maciek

I'm actually very fond of... er, that unmentionable vegetable ( 0:)), but don't really like its taste when it's burnt.

(How much farther astray can this thread go??)

Is there a subtext I am missing?

I see that despite a valued member suggesting he would leave if the specific vegetable was mentioned again; Andre has callously posted photos!

;D  Couldn't resist!

This one I see, but the other one looked tastier. ;)

I see it now, too, but these are tastier:

Oh, well. The Case of the vanishing onion pie  ??? How come I see it and you don't?

Just to make sure, here's another one - is it visible or invisible??

Thats IT!!  I'm LEAVING RIGHT NOW!!  I'm going to delete my account and everything.
How dare an Onion Pizza be posted...AND onion rings OF ALL THE CLARTY THINGS to make me and my friend in Perth even sicker.  :P :P You lot are just beyond hope.  It really is beyond the measure of good taste to post Onions in this thread and ANYWHERE for that matter.  >:( >:(  So I'm leaving.  Goodbye everyone.  I had a nice time.  Thanks to your obsession with onions everybody, I have been forced to make this decision!!!  :( :'(
I AM GOING AND THATS IT!!  GOODBYE!  :'(  :'(

Hang on a moment...I've changed my mind...I'll just stay... ::)

I feel distinctly unwell >:( >:( ;) ;)

Posting pictures of these wretched vegetables on here is pure cruelty >:D

I' ll take this as a small victory. A member's threshold of tolerance and resistance to pain has been increased  ;D

Delighted that you gents are sticking around!  ;)

Kullervo

To be honest, this thread has made me want to leave...

Anyone heard from WeirdEars or was it WiredEars (was his name Chris?) from the old forum?
There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz

Yes, he's Chris; it's been a while, Bill, but I had a brief e-mail exchange with Chris perhaps two months ago.

Hope he is doing well, Karl.  In fact, you used the word "weid" in a post and that was what made me think of him.  Next time you talk/mail, tell him Cadfael from GMG says hello and that his past kindness has not been forgotten.  Wasn't he getting into free jazz before he left?

Sometimes that shark looks right at ya. Right into your eyes. And the thing about a shark is he's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, he doesn't even seem to be livin'... 'til he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'. The ocean turns red, and despite all your poundin' and your hollerin' those sharks come in and... they rip you to pieces.

Luke? Goodness, that is disheartening. I have a hard time imagining the board without him. :(
I miss Monsieur Croche as well, by the way.
