Solitary Wanderer

I have an extra copy of this:

due to the fact that I updated to the complete boxset.

Its in absolutely perfect condition.

I'm looking for a straight swap for another classical SACD in perfect condition.

Contact me if interested  :)

No interest?

Well, I'll happily trade a standard CD in mint condition for this SACD.

Got something you want to get rid of? I may well be interested :)

Which cycle is that from, the '63, '77 or digital?

Sweet. Wish I had a SACD player.  :-\

It has a 'cd layer' so it will play perfectly well on a standard cd player, in fact it will sound quite excellent.

Why bother asking the question if you don't have an SACD player in the place? You are wasting his time.

Good information to have, I am still digging for a potential trade. I usually don't get rid of stuff anymore, as I usually end up wanting it back. However, I am interested in hearing just how much improvement was made with the HvK SACD. I'll keep looking over the weekend. Check PM? :)

A marked difference, George, might get me to consider a SACD player purhase. I'm quite unfamililar, honestly, with the technology. Can anyone testify to a recording or two, where a later purcahse of an SACD of the same, proved to be a grander experience? Sorry for taking the thead off topic.

I love the SACD experience Steve. I guess you need decent hi-fi gear to really appreciate the difference. I've heard SACD sound described as 'vinyl without the snap, crackle & pop [and hiss]' of vinyl.  :)
