Another gem from Symphonia, which I bought in a sale at JPC, and I think this time Que has it too

Wonderful singing, and so well recorded, Claudine Ansermet is as fine a singer as Emma Kirkby, a bit more fleshy in her voice, but gorgeous nevertheless.
Paolo Cherici is a accomplished lute player on his own, but together they make a good team.

I do have that (and the Gasparini too, erato! ) and it is really gorgeous - Claudine has a magnificent voice, ideally suited for this repertoire which sounds truly effortless and natural. And Paolo Cherici is a genius on the lute.

The Feo is great (I have it). Outstanding mention on newolde.com as well "This is an outstanding recording and clearly is the best recording to date of Feo's music. The ritornello in Track 15 sounds quite similar to the opening of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater."

Yep; that comes as quite a surprise.

One of highlights from 2010, which came in for a song too, and is on my menu almost weekly, for Boely is a fine composer, that should be on the lips of every classical music lover. it is a fine performance and the music is simply divine.
