Mike and Bruce,

I live in Palisades Park, New Jersey, a stone's throw from midtown across the Hudson River.

What a pity that I couldn't join you guys on at least one occasion.

:(

Being a furriner, I did not connect New Jersey with New York. On opportunity missed. We even phoned Gurn in Texas for a short pow-wow from our window-side bar with its Times Sq view.

I wasted time: and time wasted me.

That isn't expected of you, Mike; it's what the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels were built for.

I have just returned from Edinburgh where I had a nice breakfast and an extremely pleasant extended meeting with Knight, Renfield and Novi :)

Not only was our discussion enjoyable it was also extraordinarily informative ;D I learned so much about the wonderful world of GMG and its members from Knight(Mike) but also about the wider world of the net from Renfield(Eugene).

The photograph was taken for us by Mike's wife. Left to right are: Novi, Dundonnell, Renfield and Knight.

Thanks to Mike for his kind hospitality and to everyone for their excellent company :)

Some lively (and lovely) characters there! I am glad to have had the privilege of seeing several GMG members in the flesh, otherwise I would have been slightly envious...

Great photo of all of you, and such a cozy-looking restaurant, too.  :D

How very observant of you and how kind to comment ;D

Yes..I was recalled out of retirement to make a speech at a formal dinner recently so I decided that I had better appear less "going to seed" ;D ;D

Not a slight to you three lads but that photo sure is left-heavy in terms of chosen attire.

Christo, Johan ;D

There are many words that could be used to describe me but "lovely" is decidedly not one of them ;D
