Good morning, woke up at 3h33 A.M in the middle of the night, could not sleep, oh crap  >:(

Presently, I'm trying to get into Gombert's Magnificats two CD'S, 1-4 & 5-8.

What is a bit odd is had no problem getting into his Motets, Chansons, Masses, but Magnificats ares challenging for my ears.

That it I can finally go back to bed after this, hopefully, since tired now, darn insomnia, whatever.

Perhaps Magnificat format is harder to get into?, I had the same beef whit Pierre DE LA Rue.

I decided I need to go to this set for musical therapy.

Most likely I'll be pulling extracts from all over it. Starting with Valse-Caprice no.3.

I know I am a very late comer to Fauré but I have just ordered a very large banquet table on Amazon Prime so that I can smash it to bits upon arrival in approval of those two sets 8)

A handful of them yes, very beautiful if in small doses for me. Not Ameling but Dietschy. I need to sample Ameling at some point.

Miaskovsky: Symphony No. 5 [Svetlanov]

I really like the pastoral, lyrical opening to this work with the underlying disconcerting bass lines running through it. Once again we have wonderfully illuminating orchestration with particularly fine string and woodwind writing.

Hello

I just received my order Missa Prolationum L'ultima parola, by the great Johannes Ockeghem, and it's the best before or after Masse Prolationum, my favorite, like it a bit, a tiny bit more than Missa Caput.

The album on Raum Klang, this is it, this is the Missa Prolationum you dream of, thus said if your an Ockeghem
fan, this is what you have bean waiting for  for a long time, the voice are pure beauty, fluid & warm may I dare say I like it more than the one made by The Sound and The fury ensemble, this is telling fellas , order it or buy it it's exceptional truely a blessing for the ear.
