Perhaps not my favorite Dvorak 6 performance, but still lovely.

All of those Dvořák Supraphon boxes (of various colors) are first-rate and must-buys, IMHO.

Karl Henning

Pretty sure I've heard this in its cello-&-orchestra version, in the Truls Mørk box

Herbert Henck (piano)

Too long since I listened to these small marvels. So singular a world they conjure up. Poignant sculptures in sound. Henck makes them come alive like no-one else I know.

Still on my 'American Collection' and spending the day with:

Gershwin, George (1898-1937) - Orchestral & Solo Works - I've owned these discs for years; sure that there might be some different options; of course, in my jazz/popular music collection, there is a LOT of Gershwin.  Dave :)

It's always been a great favorite of mine, classicalgeek. I also like Rozhdestvensky cycle even though its audio quality isn't the best, but the spirit of the performances are never in question that's for sure.

That's a good one, Jeffrey. I like De Preist's other Shostakovich recordings, too. I haven't heard them in ages, though.
