The Seahawks-Niners game is the only one of interest to me today. Though I may peek in on Love and the Packers to see how they're doing...

The game in Detroit's been interesting. Love is sharp and the Green Bay D isn't bad so far, either, taking a Jared Goff fumble return ^^ into the endzone for a TD. 20-6, Pack.

Packers making quick work of the Lions' offense today, playing the best I've seen of them so far this season. 23-6 nearing the end of the first half. Good game, but I'd like to see division leaders Detroit get it together. Happy Thanksgiving!

Going to watch the much-advertised Black Friday Jets-Dolphins game, though I fear it may be a massacre. Dolphins offense has been fun to watch this year, we'll see how they fare against a defense that has been the Jets' only saving grace this year. Also curious to see whether the Jets' new starting QB is any better than the much-maligned and recently benched Wilson.

Oh man, I'm sorry you had to subject yourself to that. I wasn't even tempted. Any takeaways?

Not a bad docket of games today. My watches (all lined up nicely, too) will be Giants-Pats, Bills-Eagles and Ravens-Chargers. I can never do all day football so the Eagles game will get full play. Naturally, the backup-wunderkind QB, DeVito, remains a pleasant distraction and the Ravens in L. A. should definitely have it's moments.

Just tuning in to this soggy affair at the Meadowlands, 7-7 in the 4th quarter and Giants' safety, Xavier McKinney, ^^  just picked off the second Patriots gameday QB, Bailey Zapp's pass which led to a Giants field goal score. 10-7, New York.

Belichick's look says it all. His kicker couldn't even manage a 30 something yard field goal kick (to tie and garnering some overtime play), missing widely and giving the Giants the 10-7 victory. This is some truly sad football.

Now on to the Eagles-Bills game. Like both teams but giving the edge to Philly.

Forgettable, but Tim Boyle was able to show that he's just as inept as Zach Wilson. There was a endzone pick 6 (Miami) in the final seconds of the first half, which was probably the only fun part of the game to watch.

Re: Giants-Pats; wow. That was a good game between two bad teams. DeVito continues to prove he has some modicum of potential, despite a strange proclivity for being sacked. Somehow the Giants are on a two-game win streak, and the Pats' worst season in recent memory continues. Apparently, this was the first time the Giants have beat the Patriots at home since 1987 (!) I would not have thought this awful season would be the year for that streak to be broken.

Eagles-Bills should be a good one, but unless I can get my antenna working again I won't be able to watch it. Edit: Moving it a few inches seems to have helped :D Edit 2: Love the Philly throwback uniforms.

Yeah, I actually miss these uni's. Eagles strike first with a Hurts endzone run. 7-0, Birdz.
But the Bills D, alternatively great (front 10, general man-coverage) and dumb (impatience, penalty-inducing field losses), need to regroup and maintain that initial play focus.

Josh Allen might be my favorite QB right now. That guy can throw a killer pass. That late 2nd quarter 15 yard TD pass to Diggs, surrounded by three defenders—how the hell did he pull that off?

He's a WILD man.  ;D Executed another dodge 'n score in the 3rd quarter.

Wow, that game-tying Jake Elliott FG kick in the last 30 seconds was incredible to see. Let's see what happens in OT... great game.

Incredible catch but Philly should have made a smarter endzone run. The play calling was terrible. That situation tells you what a team is really made of, imo.

Jalen Hurts ran the game winning TD. Weak defense from Buffalo in OT, IMO. Philly's great season continues. (I still don't understand how they ever lost to the Jets.)

Yeah, the Bills coverage that we saw early in the game just wasn't there. Still say the Eagles should have taken it late in the 4th but I enjoyed watching the ease of the downfield run in OT. Fun one!

Chicago Bears in Minnesota tonight. Was never a Viking fan. This young Bears QB, Fields, though he looks 15, is showing some prowess tonight. His tools:

Gawd. Snoozefest. 3-0, Bears at the half. Night.

Yeah, I gave up at halftime too. Makes yesterday's Giants-Patriots game look exciting.

Well the Cubs did pull out a win. I couldn't explain what Dobbs and the Vikes were up to but it's clear that the OC and the other Bear sideliners wouldn't let Fields make his own calls. The kid isn't dumb, he'll learn. The gazillion screen pass plays were obviously not working. They need to let Field loose. On the other hand, his instinct for tangling with defenders needs to be killed. Caused him to miss 4 games already. He's got mad promise. Hope it pans out for Chicago.

Yeah, Vikings last night gave one of the worst offensive performances I've seen this year. Re: Fields, he's one aggressive QB in the run game. I see he holds the current record for most single-game rushing yards by a QB at 178 in a game against Miami last year. Impressive stat, but an unwise plan of attack if he wants to keep in the game. (They lost that game, in any case.)
