Très vrai!
The current annihilation of a people on this planet (you know which one it is) is the most documented and at the same time the most preposterously denied.

Debussy: Sonata for Flute, Viola & Harp, Tre Voci

First time hearing this recording and the Tre Voci are brilliant. Perhaps not surprising with a line-up like that, but I can't remember hearing a performance I enjoyed more. The music as nimble and disorientatingly beautiful as ever

SonicMan46

Bach, JS - Trio Sonatas with London Baroque (BWV 1036-1039 - some mixup in numbering; see attachment if interested) and Camerata Köln (BWV 525,527,1027-29). I've owned these a long time and plenty of competition and newer recordings are available; actually have a couple more at bottom - Trio Lezard and the Brook Street Band (both performing BWV 525-530).  Dave

Linz

Bruckner Symphony No. 6 in A Major, 1881 Version. Ed. Leopold Nowak, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Takashi Asahina

Lisztianwagner

The 2nd Piano Concerto is absolutely stunning. Continuing with Prokofiev's Piano Concertos, I confess I haven't listened to them for a little time....

Sergei Prokofiev
Piano Concerto No.3

Koppel: Concerto for violin, viola and orchestra

Sometimes I don't know what to expect when listening to new music by composers I'm relatively familiar with. It could be either a hit or a miss. On this occasion it was a thorough hit. One of those always welcome surprises.

The current annihilation of a people on this planet (you know which one it is) is the most documented and at the same time the most preposterously denied.

Symphonic Addict

Ibert: Hommage à Mozart, Bacchanale, Bostoniana and Louisville Concerto

The epitome of fun, sparkling music! Interesting that Bostoniana was intended as a movement of an eventual symphony. Alas, it would have been a guaranteed success.

The current annihilation of a people on this planet (you know which one it is) is the most documented and at the same time the most preposterously denied.

Bachtoven

Mesmerizing playing and superb sound. Her ornaments are amazingly fluid.

A classic recording of a fascinating score!

On CD 5 of this treasure trove of a set:
