It would be, wouldn't it?

Good idea!  Or maybe on Amazon?  🤷  I'll find out.  :)

I distinctly remember sitting in the bean bag, slowly sinking into it.

The episode in question is called "Schizogeny". Rolling Stone ranks it at number 214 out of 217 episodes, which gives you some idea. Not everybody hated it to that quite that degree, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone argue it's a top episode.

And of course, a few weeks before or after, they might have hit one of the best episodes of the entire run. It really was that kind of show, incredibly erratic. Which is one reason it was so interesting. Even in the recent 2-season revival, which had a lot of lemons, there was also one completely brilliant episode that ranks right up there amongst the best.
Every single post on the forum is unnecessary. Including the ones that are interesting or useful.

My 12-31-2024: My favorite year, and still two of my favorite films: Hackers (this will be the movie I watch into 2025 - a tradition of mine) and Empire Records. I don't think Hackers will ever be unseated for me, as that cast truly does speak to me, and being a misfit, I am always drawn to films that bring together misfits.

I'll also be watching Trick, the film that opened my eyes, and Show Me Love (because I love feeling fuzzy and warm; also, not dissimilar to Trick).

I don't know SHOW ME LOVE, but the others are all great.  :)

Have you seen THE BROKEN HEARTS CLUB? Another one from around the turn of the century, a fun ensemble comedy/romance about a group of gay dudes in WeHo. You'll find some recognizable faces. My brother and I like to quote all kinds of lines from it.

I've not, but I will put that on my list. ;D

Nosferatu - 2024

Saw this one in the theatre last night, and I was surprisingly impressed. It far exceeded my expectations. I've been a fan of horror films since I was a child, but am almost unanimously disappointed by anything that has come out for the past 25 plus years. Especially when we are talking about remakes or "reboots" of classics. This is a standout exception for me. Kudos to Robert Eggers. It doesn't replace the original 1922 or 1979 remake with Klaus Kinski, but it is a rather well done, original complement to it. Recommended.

Lol, oh, I'm a misfit, but in an ironic sense, of course. Although, on this board, I am not as much of a misfit, but I think that says more about this board than it says about the world ... ;D

I don't think I knew that Alec Baldwin and Joan Cusack are in the cast. Definitely didn't know that the music is by Carly Simon (and honestly, the music is part of why I'm revisiting the movie: Harrison Ford, Sigourney Weaver and Melanie Griffith in Working Girl. Oh, look! It's a Christmas movie, too!

I thought I remembered this being good fun, and I was right. I had the idea that she was born to someone famous, but didn't remember to whom. Seeing her on screen again, I rather suspected it must be 'Tippi' Hedren.

Yep, and Mel's daughter is Dakota Johnson.  ;)

Right now: Battleship - this film is so over-the-top that it becomes unironically awesome (an actual admiral in the U.S. Navy loves this flick, as well):

This is what Independence Day, in my opinion, wishes it was (except Battleship has likeable people in all its roles - like actual WW II Veterans mixed in with A-List Hollywood). This movie is legitimately so much fun. 8)

Before I begin my movie watching in earnest, a palette cleanser: Underworld

There's something about this movie ... ??? Wait, a minute is that Charles Dance? :o Nope, wrong Underworld. (My favorite  is Kevin Grevioux who played Raze, a were... lycan - he also co-created the series.)

I saw Wicked with some of my family a few nights ago and we all loved it.  I didn't know the story or anything about it really other than it's a prequel to the Wizard of Oz and am not that in to musicals, but we all loved it.  The music was really good and it told a good story.  Highly recommended if you think you might be in to this sort of thing.
