Watched the first two episodes of this with a friend last week and the final two today. And, yes, it deserves all the praise its gotten.

I'd heard a few things going in, especially about the psychological assessor in episode three, but what blew be away was the complexity of episode two in the school. I've since learned that the had ten chances to get it right - two each day for five days - and it was only take ten that they got it complete. I'm amazed that with all the moving parts it didn't take fifty.

Last week I also re-listened to all four episodes of the Behind The Bastards podcast devoted to Andrew Tate and the toxic "manoshphere", because of this, and can recommend that as a way of explaining the background noise in these teen boys lives..

There's a really interesting Making Of thing on Youtube where they go into how all the camera hand-offs were done:

I liked it:  bring on another season.

I liked that that earnest, dogged MI6 lady and her sidekick got shot to death at the end (... hence making another season possible).

[Edit]  OPPS !! Spoiler, sorry.

Superb. And I especially love how the turbulent marriage between Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell is written.

We've watched three episodes so far and found it very well made, well acted, funny, but (said without judgment) basically a soap opera at heart.

Finished season two last night. Allison Janney turns up for the last two episodes. I'll say no more.

Its interesting that while the current president in their world isn't Biden, its clear from the way they talk about the diplomatic situation that the previous one was Trump. I wonder if it will colour season three as its currently being made that "rebuilding alliances" is no longer a thing, or if they just continue further into al alternate world.

Agatha All Along (2024)
Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza
Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone

A spin-off of WandaVision, where Kathryn Hahn continues her witch character Agatha Harkness. Hahn and LuPone carry the show, with Disney+ obviously pushing the song The Ballad of the Witches Road.

I finished S1 of Ludwig, and I'm hooked! I can't wait for S2.

Any fan of the cozy whodunit mystery should check the show out.

Rewatching Frasier yet again:

For me, Frasier is easily one of the most brilliant sitcoms of all-time.

Karl Henning

The Outer Limits. Into a stretch of some of my favorite episodes: "Controlled Experiment" (when I first saw it, I did not yet know Barry Morse from The Fugitive.) "Do Not Open Until Doomsday" and "ZZZZZ."

Really enjoyed this show. Wish it lasted more than two seasons, but the ending was great.
