What sort of player do you use? Flac is simply a lossless format, whereas mp3 is lossy. I always play my music on the computer. I use foobar2000, which plays almost any sort of file you care to mention (free download)...

I just use Windows Media Player. RealPlayer freezes up every time i try to open it up. The new version really REALLY sucks.

No, if I'm a free user i have to wait a bit. That's perfectly fine, though, i'm on 2 and there's 4 more. It's only like a 14 min. wait between each. If I'm lucky, i can even get it done today.

I see. Then I have run out of my Direct Downloads. I thought as much. Fortunately, since this afternoon I have a second account at Rapidshare (I had amassed 10.000 points) with a virginal Traffic Share (as they now call Direct Downloads). I could re-upload them to the other account, if you like...

That sounds like a good idea. I'm having trouble downloading them, messing up the captchas, and then when i thought i got it right, it says this:

     Oh, I'll figure it out. I have the Lenard, and I DL'd the textfile, too, so I won't have any problem tagging anything, either. First impression of Boult: There's a much better feeling for the details of the music than the Lenard. It shows a real understanding (like Mackerras, I think).

Agreed. Boult has much more urgency, I prefer his interpretation. And I love the sense of occasion you get with the Boult (Brian is in the audience, 90 years old)...

I used to visit Metal-Archives forums but got bored once I realised how excessively pretentious hardcore fans of all types of music are - at least classical listeners generally have the intellect to back that up - with other genres it's like watching cripples fight. I do a brief scan of new threads once every month or so.
