Please vote. Thanks.

I think you actually forgot to put 'for Tchaikovsky' at the end there instead of 'Thanks.'   >:D

Why you! I oughta...!

Being more interested in solo and chamber music, Brahms easily gets my vote.

Brahms for me, no contest.  Not that I dislike Tchaikovsky, of course...
The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.

-- William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice

Karl Henning

Neither would easily get my vote. Hard pressed, I should have to say Tchaikovsky.

Brahms. I listen to his symphonies and concertos much more often than those of Tchaikovsky. Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff are my favorite Russian composers.

You know my answer!  :D

Although I could never do without Tchaikovsky.

The one from Germany.

We all know you meant to vote for the one from Russia, though.

This is an extremely hard one, but at gunpoint, I'd perhaps prefer choosing Tchaikovsky instead of the bullet.

I will discuss this with my friend, Hans Rott, and he will meet you on the next train out of town.

It's a closer race than I thought it would be.

Based on nothing more than his Fourth, Brahms.

I love you, Sarge.

In a very manly sort of way, of course.

What's your favorite 4th, Sarge? Right now mine is Royal Philharmonic/Reiner.
