Now that's surprising! I take it you like it/them?

I used to like Alternative 4/Judgement/We're here because we're here/Weather Systems quite a bit!  :)

Oh yes, I think Anathema are quite good. I don't have all of their albums, but Weather Systems is really good. They have a new album coming out next month titled The Optimist. I'm probably going to be getting that one as well.

Just preordered the new Anathema album:

With solar cells and dynamo to power it. Also possibility to connect mp3 player by USB. Gets good reviews, so I ordered it. Low price, only E 40, for what it promises.

Low power consumption because of analog receiver (I have read somewhere).

'The 'I' is not prior to the 'we'.' (Jean-Luc Nancy)

Two recordings from Michael Moore, the American reed player making his career in The Netherlands (Amsterdam).

Read the interview with him in Downbeat.

Subtle and adventureous music, which I want to listen to more closely. I have already some which I will relisten as well.

Michael Moore Quartet - Easter Sunday

^ That's a Roger Dean cover if ever there was one! (bottom-right)

Also, hope you enjoy the Steven Wilson albums! And roll on August 18th!  ;)

Yep, a Dean cover indeed, which doesn't even suit the music that's inside IMHO, but never mind...that's a topic for another day and not worth the rant. :) Thanks, I've already listened to Wilson's Hand. Cannot. Erase. about four times all the way through. I'm finding something new each time I listen to it, which is always a good sign. I can't wait for To The Bone. I listened to Pariah many nights ago and found it absolutely haunting and hypnotic.

Tríona....

The above purchase will mean absolutely nothing to 99.999% of the people on the planet and I do not normally post vinyl purchases [for some reason?] but this one is just a little different. I have been away for a few days and I came across a remarkable book and music shop in a most unexpected place. Unfortunately I did not have a lot of time to browse the sizeable vinyl collection on sale but it is a place which I will definitely return to for much more in depth investigation. Anyway the above was one of those personal WOW moments when one is idly skimming through the shelves or a bin. Tríona ní Dhomhnaill was a very talented traditional Irish singer who played a harpsichord and was very prominent in the 1970's folk scene here in Ireland. She had a terrific and somewhat unusual voice which I particularly liked. She emigrated to the US and I lost contact with her music making as a result. Finding the LP was delightful and took me back a very long way to another place and time, as music has the power to do.

That's cool. Unexpected pleasures can often be the most special ones. :) And you've still the bonus of revisiting to explore the trove.  8)
"You overestimate my power of attraction," he told her. "No, I don't," she replied sharply, "and neither do you".
