I'm glad she's doing well.  It sounds like this is more distressing for you and Vanessa than for Kimi, which is as it should be.  As my sister-in-law used to lecture my brother:  "parents can't be wimps!"  So you two have to tough it out.  I'll keep you three in my thoughts.

Kimi will be two years old tomorrow. I hope to have some photos next week. I have been her nanny for the past week. Let me tell you, it is the happiest moments in my life. This morning, I took her out on a double decker bus, riding on the front row on the top deck. She loved it. After lunch out, we came back by subway. I have had little sleep in this past week. But I will never trade this time for anything.

I want to share a story from a few months ago. After telling her a story about tails -- how the baby fox and little squrrels have big tails and the huge elephant has (relative to their body size) very small tails, I had to go to the bathroom. I closed the doors but did not lock it. She barged in and looked at me, pointing: "Daddy's tail. Very very small!"

Ouch!  You must be very comfortable with yourself, Paul, to share this little tidbit.  ;)  Wonderful story, and one that will probably be retold for many years to come.  8)

Well, it is no match for the fox's tail, to be sure.

Luckily she does not seem to be suffering from tail envy at all.   :) What a great story!

Great story, springrite!  I'll be laughing all day without being able to explain why!

Well, by definition it was sufficient to get the job done.   ???

Since Kimi is a test tube baby via in vitro... I can't claim that the evidence is able to stand up.

Sounds like a story a professional comedian would come up with.

Paul asked me to post this for him, doesn't she look gorgeous.

These were taken on my birthday, not Kimi's birthday. She's 2 year 4 months old.

She seems a very smiley child! Lovely photos.

I'm not an expert at this :)
Springrite, in another thread you wrote you were in Beijing; are you living there? I was under the impression you are from South Korea... Now I read your name is Paul so I may be completely wrong.
