It's good to know ye American gents on the forum care more about Scotland than the English do hahahaha.

English bookmakers were paying out bets wagered on the NO let's stay in the UK yesterday.

Apparently the Scots aren't going anywhere say The bookies.

You seldom see a skint bookie, but you never know  8)

Paying out ahead of the event . . . not that such contests would be fixed, no, I see that 8)

hey, we can go to the "All Elections Are Rigged" Thread a-a-anytime you want.

You should know how I feel about electronic voting booths- and which country seems to be in charge of making them. hmmm??? So- if the bankers want ole Scottie to stay, perhaps they will (appear to have done so by rigging the vote to NO).

According to the BBC article on how to vote:

"Give your name and address to the staff at the polling place or station. If you need assistance to vote, let them know and they will help you.

You will be given a piece of paper with the question: "Should Scotland be an independent country?" and the options "Yes" or "No".

Show your choice by putting an X in the "Yes" or "No" box on the ballot paper. Only put an X in one box or your vote might not be counted.

Then fold your paper and slot it into the ballot box."

It seems there is no electronic voting. You can breathe easier knowing the "Bankers" may lose this one  ;D

The GOP will be horrified to see Scotland votes with no voter ID requirements.

And rightly so. The world, I am told needs more Canada, and we have voter id.
Always were more sensible than yanks if I may say.  ;)

Brilliant! No one would think to look there...unless you try to board an airliner. In which case, those Krugerrands you're hoarding for the coming Meltdown will set off a TSA alarm  ;D

No wins.

Probably the best thing all around, but I was hoping for 40 Labour seats to go away ...

Scotland was always known for good sense.
